Interactive panel for military needs

The perception of war is usually limited to images from the front line: equipment, positions, shooting. But in reality, an important part of the work is what remains behind the scenes: preparation, analysis, planning, training. And this is where we are increasingly seeinginteractive panels — devices that until recently were mainly associated with educational institutions or business.

Today, interactive equipment is not a luxury, but a working tool that performs excellently in military infrastructure: in headquarters, training centres, and mobile command posts.

What should the panel be like to meet the service requirements?

Interactive panel for military tasks it’s not just a ‘big TV with a sensor.’ It all starts with the design, because the equipment has to withstand movement, temperature changes, dust, moisture, and shocks during transport.

So:

• Screen protected by tempered glass — it is resistant to scratches and mechanical damage.
• The body is metal, but lightweight — mainly made of aluminium alloy.
• The panel can be either stationary or mobile — mounted on a stand with wheels, which is important in conditions of constant movement or field headquarters.

Such equipment can be used indoors, in a tent, and even in a command vehicle — the main thing is to have a power supply and minimal protection from precipitation.

What is inside the interactive panel?

Modern panels are usually based onAndroid-система. It is processed by ARM processors, most often:

• RK series (e.g. RK3566 or RK3588) — powerful, capable of quickly displaying maps, photos, videos;
• Amlogic — another common solution, optimal for standard tasks.

These panels operate silently, start up quickly, and have an intuitive interface — exactly what you need for field conditions or intensive work.

But if you need more complex functions — for example, running special military software under Windows, connecting to servers, or processing large amounts of data — you can add a add OPS module. This is a separate removable computer that is built into the panel housing and operates on the basis ofIntel i3, i5 or i7.

Thus, the same panel can be either lightweight and mobile or transformed into a full-fledged computer centre.

Implementation of interactive panels

How is this used in practice?

The functionality of the multi-board opens up a wide range of possibilities:

• Working with maps — you can quickly open a satellite image of the area, mark areas of activity, save the route or adjust it in real time.
• Training and instruction— explain tactical principles to new military personnel, practise algorithms, show videos or infographics.
• Communication at headquarters — demonstration of situational diagrams during briefings or coordination of departments.
• Connecting other devices — cameras, flash drives, laptops — everything connects via standard ports (USB, HDMI, Ethernet).

The panel can operate24/7, it does not require special user training, is easy to transport and can be quickly deployed in a new location.

Formats and sizes

Depending on the tasks and space, interactive panels can be:

• from 32 to 86 inches;
• in a ‘wall-mounted’ format, or installed on mobile stands.

Compact 55–65‘ models are suitable for small rooms or mobile CPUs, while 75–86’ models with high resolution are suitable for large centres.
